Mr. Koichiro Kurita, a photography artist who has worked in the U.S. for more than 30 years as a recipient of the Rockefeller Foundation Fund. His works are displayed in each guest room. Using the classic technique of “platinum printing,”, it is also known as “the nobility of photographic images,”. Kurita’s photographs are projected on the finest Japanese paper, “Gampi-shi (Gampi paper)”. His works of art, which take more than 24 hours to complete, are also displayed at the gallery in the former elementary school, a 5-minute walk from here. The gallery will be closed irregularly, but if you are interested in visiting the gallery, please feel free to ask at the front desk for Kurita’s contact information.
